All boat schedules have been collected with utmost care, however boat operators sometimes change their earlier published schedules due to passenger frequency or the tides. Please help us keeping these pages up-to-date and mail us any information, you might miss or any mistakes you might find.

There is no connection between Ao Yai Bay and Aow Lek Bay on Koh Chang or to Phayam Island, unless you return to Ranong. To avoid this time-consuming detour, you can try to rent a long-tail boat on Aow Yai, but they are rare as local fishermen work on the big trawlers in Ranong and do not own boats. It is also possible to walk through the island (approx 6 kms) but do not try with heavy luggage.

KURABURI - PHRA THONG ISLAND - KURABURI

 
 
There are no scheduled boats available for the trip to Phra Thong Island. If you have booked accommodation at Golden Buddha Beach Resort, you will be asked for your arrival time, so that the transfer can be arranged. Crossing time is about 90 minutes. During monsoon season, parts of the transfer are by 4WD through the inner part of the island.
