Thai-West Resort has been built by a Thai family on the western coast of Koh Sriboya Island. This is the right place to unwind, pick some tropical fruits right off the tree, do a bit of sea kayaking and windsurfing on the calm emerald green waters of the Andaman Sea or just relax on the beach of Ko Si Bo Ya Island.
Thai West Resort on Koh Siboya Island is all about relaxation and enjoying the natural beauty of the Southern Thai Islands in the Andaman Sea. Thaiwest Resort is run by two brothers and one sister together with their spouses and children. Everybody is involved, handling meals, reservations, laundry and housecleaning, driving the Tuk-Tuk, steering the longtail boat, being the tour guide and looking for the guests in every possible way.

All accommodations at Thai-West Resort are custom built with a different design, decor, landscaping, and different locations. This is were the bungalows and houses got their names from: Oceanview Bungalow, Garden Duplex Room, River House, Beach House, Sunset House and Hilltop House. Each building is tailored for a different experience and we will help you pick the right accommodation so that your stay at Thai West Resort will be exactly what you’ve been dreaming of.

Our seven traditional Thai-style bungalows are called Oceanview Bungalow and come with two layers of bamboo thatch walls, private bathroom and ocean views. They are the economic choice for a single person or a couple who plans to spend most of their time outdoors. The inside is not really spacious and has a queen-size bed with mosquito net.

The Garden Duplex rooms at Thaiwest Resort are designed for families, as there is a private studio for the parents and a connected 2 bedroom studio for the kids. The Garden Duplex are surrounded with a lot of palm trees and flowering plants, and its back windows open up to the Thai rainforest. Palm Room has one bedroom with king-size bed with mosquito net and private bathroom, while Lotus Room has two bedrooms, one with king-size bed and a twin bed. The second bedroom has a twin bed.

Our River House has one bedroom with queen-size bed and mosquito net, a private bathroom and several private decks hanging just feet over the river. During the low season, the meandering river becomes a torrent and the frogs and crickets crank up the volume, so be prepared to sleep with a symphony of natural noises.
A few steps from our pristine beach, Thai-West Resort's Beach House is surrounded by a lush hedge of exotic Thai plants and ponds full of tropical fish. Enjoy a stunning view of the ocean from your private porch, this place is perfect for strolling or sun worshiping. During night time, the sound of the ocean will lull you to sleep in your seaside Siboya bungalow. The Beach House comes with either two twin beds or one queen-size bed with mosquito net and a private bathroom.

Our newest addition is the Sunset House, which offers plenty of room for a family. Lounge on the front porch and enjoy the ocean view to the Andaman Sea of Ko Sri-bo-ya and the sunset before supper. The Sunset House has one large bedroom with two king-size beds, a sitting area and a private bathroom.
The restaurant at Thai West Resort offers home made Thai cuisine for lunch and dinner with ocean view, either at one of our beachside gazebos, or in the privacy of your room. Dine out at one of the other two restaurants on Ko Sriboya Island, one is in walking distance and the other one a short scooter ride away. Or bring your own provisions from Krabi over with you and use our communal kitchen to prepare your meal.
Thai-West Resort offers a variety of on-island and off-island excursions, as well as boat trips to other destinations like Koh Kah, Bamboo Island, Koh Phi Phi Island, Railay Beach in Krabi, elephant rides, ATV trails, river rafting, Emerald Pool, Tiger Cave Temple and the Hot Water River. At Thaiwest Resort, we have snorkel masks and finsfor rent, kayaks to paddle around Koh Siboya, mountain bikes to ride around Koh Siboya and windsurf boards.
