Baan Suan Kayoo Cottages

Koh Payam Island has a total area of 35 square kilometers and a population of 500 people who make their living on fishing, cashew nut plantations and rubber farming. Many are working in the tourism industry by now. The island is located only 4 kilometres from the neighbouring Koh Chang Island and has many white sandy beaches spread around the island.

There are still some wild animals living on Ko Phayam Island like hornbill, hawk, monkey and wild boar. The island has a health station, a school and a Buddist temple. There are quite some small roads on the island, which are narrow and can be used only by motorbike or bicycle. The most famous beaches on Koh Payam Island are Aow Yai Beach and Aow Khaow Kwai Beach. The best period for a vacation on Koh Phayam Island is around December to April.

Baan Suan Kayoo is located on Aow Yai Beach and consists of many beautiful cottages on a gentle slope, surrounded by landscaped gardens blending in with the cashew nut (Ka-yoo) gardens around and Aowyai Bay. There is a winding path that leads to the silky sandy beach that stretches for over 3 kilometers.

The Superior Cottages have spacious balconies overlooking Ao Yai Bay and the Andaman Sea. They offer comfort in the gentle embrace of nature and they are only a short walk from the beach, so you can enjoy the pristine virgin beaches, turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea and the year-round sunshine.

Superior Cottages have a private terrace, a king-size bed and stylish furniture. They are equipped with a fan and a private bathroom with shower and western-style toilet.

Baan Suan Ka-Yoo offers a wide range of adventure activities to suit everyone such as diving and snorkeling. We also have mountain bikes, which offer the perfect way to explore Koh Phayam Island.

Ban Suan Kayoo Restaurant is perfectly situated right on the garden in front of Ao Yai Beach and offers you the finest Thai and International cuisine. It is decorated and designed open-air style with commanding views of the tropical garden beach.
