Snorkelling the Andaman Sea Islands

For some snorkelling action you could take a trip in one of the typically open fishing boats that offer excursions from nearly every island in the region.

Half and full-day excursions bring you to quiet, pristine snorkelling areas and beautiful, secluded islands like Koh Adang Islands, Koh Rawi Islands, Koh Lipe Islands, Koh Klang Islands, Koh Dong Islands and Koh Lek Islands.

Most often, these tours run on a private basis and therefore guarantee a day that runs at your pace. These trips are perfect for couples, families or small groups as parts of the day can be customised to suit your needs.

A lunch box is normally included or can be arranged by the boat owner and you can really enjoy the refreshing crystal clear waters of these magnificent islands as you marvel at the marine ecology of the area.

Most famous are snorkelling trips from Phi Phi Island to Maya Bay (The Beach) on uninhabited Phi Phi Le Island and day trips from Lanta Island to the beautiful islands due southwest of Lanta, as there are Ngai, Waen and Muuk Island with its famous "Emerald Cave". Snorkelling Tours from Lipe Island include visits to Ngam and Yung Island, both are renowned for their crystal clear waters and variety of marine life.
